Dissociation Kits

The Dissociation Kit series is designed according to the characteristics of interstitial components and intercellular junctions of tissues such as neural tissue, brain, and tumor. It is a mixed enzyme composed of a variety of digestive enzymes with different mechanisms of action, which can quickly dissociate some difficult tissues into single cell suspensions and maintain high cell activity. It has been tested and verified on a variety of difficult tissue types in humans and mice. It is highly practical, with a simple, fast and direct workflow, and can be used in ordinary laboratories.

Product Benefits

Can be used on tissues such as neural tissue, brain, and tumor tissue.

Single cell suspension with a high level of activity and a high yield.

Standardized workflow that is efficient and convenient.

Compatible with automated equipment; facilitates rapid procedures.

Case Study

Researchers in our laboratory have successfully extracted neurons, astrocytes, and microglia from primary mouse brain tissue using the dissociation kit for in vitro culture. They all showed good cell morphology and viability and are ready for further study.

Our neuroscientists have developed different tri-culture systems to study interactions between glial cells and neurons. A tri-culture model in which cells more closely mimic their physiological environment than a single primary culture. This model accurately replicated Alzheimer's disease hallmarks such as Aβ accumulation, tau phosphorylation, and microglia recruitment.

Meanwhile, iPSCs (co-cultured neurons + microglia or neurons + astrocytes) were employed in neuroinflammation models. iPSCs derived from patients allow researchers to study neuroinflammatory processes and test potential treatments in a more patient-specific setting.
