Product Overview
EGCs not only support the normal functioning of the nervous system but also participate in the regulation of neuronal growth, development, neural circuit function, and cell apoptosis. Applications
- Research on disease treatment mechanism: EGCs play an important role in regulating intestinal barrier function and inhibiting intestinal inflammation, providing new ideas for the treatment of diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease.
- Spinal cord injury repair: OECs have been shown to promote axon regeneration after spinal cord injury and are currently the only cell type used to treat spinal cord injury.
- Nerve regeneration: OECs support the survival and regeneration of neurons by secreting neurotrophic factors and forming myelin, and are one of the ideal candidate cells for central nervous system regeneration.
