- Biological Activity:
- Yellow chromogenic β-lactamase substrate. Except for the hydrophilic Aeromonas hydrophila metalloenase, it is easily hydrolyzed in the presence of all β-lactamases. It is suitable for kinetic studies and can detect enzymes in crude extracts and chromatographic fractions.
