Creative Biolabs's Human iPSC-Derived Hippocampal Spheroids are derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) without integration under fully defined neural induction conditions.
Creative Biolabs's Human iPSC-Derived Hippocampal Spheroids are rich in hippocampal neurons and express zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 20 (ZBTB20) and Prospero homeobox protein 1 (PROX1). In addition, the hippocampal neurons derived from the APP variant HS exhibit profound transcriptome changes, which can be regulated by the overexpression of NeuroD1 (ND1), leading to the upregulation of genes whose gene products are related to synaptic transmission and are altered in AD.
2.hiPSC-derived HSs can be used to model Alzheimer disease
3.hiPSC-derived HSs can be used to develop innovative therapeutic solutions
Growing cells: Growing cell cultures should be checked on receipt using an inverted microscope. Immediately check the cell density upon arrival for any obvious defects. If the cell density is too high (more than 80% confluent) subculture the cells (harvest and reseed) immediately.
For detailed instructions on the thawing procedure of frozen cells and the culture of adherent or suspended cells, please feel free to contact us by email or phone.
