Description
Separated from the human brain is the HM from Creative Biolabs. HM is kept frozen after purification and transported frozen. In a 1 ml volume, each vial contains more than 1 x 10^6 cells. Immunofluorescence and antibodies against CD 11b and F4/80 are characteristics of HM. HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungus are all absent in HM. However, it is not advised to utilise HM for protracted or long-term cultivation as the cells will not grow in traditional culture. HM assures further cultivation under the conditions supplied by Creative Biolabs.
