Product Overview
Cell Types
DopaNeuron
Applications
Cell Culture
Marker
Midbrain dopaminergic neurons are composed of cells derived from human iPSCs. These cells have been induced into neuroepithelial cells to form midbrain floor progenitor cells and differentiate into midbrain dopaminergic neurons. The resulting cell population contains 25% TH+ cells (a marker of dopaminergic cells).
Species
Human
Properties
Form
Cryopreserved
Morphology
The midbrain dopaminergic neurons are adherent and show obvious neurite outgrowth within the first week of culture. Calcein staining shows the axon length and number of midbrain dopaminergic neurons in culture.
