Description

iNeu neurons from Creative Biolabs are pure and ready-to-use iPSC-derived glutamatergic or GABAergic inducible neurons and astrocytes. This platform comes closest to real human neurobiology observed in primary cultures, providing the ability to efficiently study human neuronal function in vitro. The co-Culture kits contain GABAergic and Glutamatergic Neurons, Astroglia, and all of the media necessary to establish a co-culture model for functional neuron studies. The kits are available in two configurations suitable for general culture (Cat. No. NRZP-0722-ZP2-1) or MEA assays (Cat. No. NRZP-0722-ZP2-2). Please see the specification for kit contents.

Kits containing only GABAergic neurons, astroglia and media (Cat. No. NRZP-0722-ZP3), or only glutamatergic neurons, astroglia, and media (Cat. No. NRZP-0722-ZP4) are also available.

These cells are closer to real human biology than common animal models or other iPSC-based systems. The kit offers better applicability to predict responses to test reagents.
- Fast and even ripening
The kit develops mature synaptic network activity within 3-4 weeks. These kits showed a synchronous burst phenotype similar to rodent primary cultures.
- Reliable, robust and ready-to-use cultures
This differentiated approach yields a highly defined in vitro system with batch-to-batch consistency that provides reproducible results.
- Flexible modular system
Users can control subtype seeding densities and ratios to tailor cultures to specific projects. Custom kit configurations available.

Preparation and Storage

Quality Control

The maturation and neural network formation potential of iPSC-derived induced neurons has been functionally validated on MEA. All cells are tested for chromosomal integrity and pathogens (i.e. Mycoplasma, etc.). Full characterization is included in the Certificate of Analysis.

Shelf Life

This product is stable for at least 6 months from the date of receiving when stored as directed.
