Product Overview

Description

The BBB is a highly selective membrane that surrounds the blood vessels in the brain, and it can prevent many molecules, including potentially life-saving drugs, from entering the brain. The anti-LRRC4B BBB Shuttle Antibody is designed to bind to receptors on the surface of cells in the BBB, and once bound, the antibody can cross the BBB and into the brain. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the treatment of brain disorders by enabling drugs to reach the brain more effectively.

Immunogen

Fusion protein amino acids 598-709 (cytoplasmic C-terminus) of rat NGL-3 (also known as NetrinG3 ligand, Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 4B, Lrrc4b and Lrig4, accession number P0CC10)
Mouse: 100% identity (112/112 amino acids identical)
Human: 94% identity (105/112 amino acids identical)
<40% identity with NGL-1 and NGL-2
