Description
Mouse anti-chicken interleukin 6 antibody, recognizes chicken interleukin 6 (IL-6), a cytokine that can play a pro-inflammatory or anti-inflammatory effect. Chicken Interleukin 6 is produced by a variety of cell types, including macrophages, endothelial cells, T cells and fibroblasts. IL-6 is a pluripotent cytokine that has the ability to induce the proliferation and differentiation of B cells and T cells, and plays an important mediator role in the acute phase response.
