Product Overview

Description

Mouse trigeminal neuron cells are isolated from trigeminal nerve tissue; the trigeminal nerve is the largest mixed cranial nerve, containing two kinds of fibers of general somatosensory and special visceral motor. Its special visceral motor fibers originate from the motor nucleus of the trigeminal nerve in the middle of the pons, and the fibers form the motor root of the trigeminal nerve. , exits the skull through the foramen ovale, and distributes to the masticatory muscles along with the branches of the mandibular nerve. The motor roots also contain fibers related to the midbrain nucleus of the trigeminal nerve, which mainly transmit the proprioception of the masticatory muscles. The trigeminal nerve is dominated by somatosensory fibers, and the cell bodies of these fibers are located in the trigeminal ganglion (meniscus), which is located at the anterior trigeminal indentation at the tip of the petrous part of the middle cranial fossa and is formed by the dura mater. Merkel cavity wrap. The trigeminal ganglion is composed of pseudounipolar neurons, and its central processes form the thick sensory root of the trigeminal nerve. Fibers mainly terminate in the spinal nucleus of the trigeminal nerve; fibers that conduct touch mainly terminate in the pontine nucleus of the trigeminal nerve. The peripheral processes of trigeminal ganglion cells form three branches of the trigeminal nerve, namely the first ophthalmic nerve, the second maxillary nerve, and the third mandibular nerve. The three branches are continuously distributed in facial skin, eye and orbit, oral cavity, nasal cavity, mucous membrane of paranasal sinus, teeth, meninges, etc., and conduct various sensations such as pain, temperature and touch.
