Description
NeuroBiotin Tracer is an amino derivative of biotin, which can be used as an intracellular marker for cells, especially neurons. It is used to visualize neural architecture and identify gap junction coupling.

Features:
• Can be used for many types of preparations, including in vivo, whole-pack, slice preparations or cultured cells
• Can be delivered by many ways, such as intracellular electrodes, microinjection, load shedding or scraping load
• Can be detected using avidin or streptavidin system and chromogenic or fluorescent visualization methods

Advantages over biotin and other neuronal markers:
• Better solubility
• More efficient iontophoresis
• Stay in the cell longer
• Non-toxic
• Can be fixed with formalin or glutaraldehyde
