Description

Brain uptake of therapeutic antibodies is severely limited by their size. To achieve enhanced BBB crossing, Creative Biolabs developed a BBB shuttle antibody platform by utilizing the endogenous macromolecule transportation pathway, known as receptor-mediated transcytosis (RMT). The engineered antibody-based carrier is believed to significantly to increase the macromolecule brain entry to combat CNS diseases.

Antibody 82E1 does not react with amyloid beta (2-40) and amyloid beta (3-40), but only recognizes amyloid beta (1-40). On the other hand, it was confirmed that the 6E10 antibody does not react with amyloid β(1-40), but recognizes amyloid β(2-40) and amyloid β(3-40).

It was confirmed that the 82E1 monoclonal antibody does not react with APP, and only recognizes amyloid β and βCTF. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the 6E10 antibody recognized APP.
