Product Overview

Description

Brain uptake of therapeutic antibodies is severely limited by their size. To achieve enhanced BBB crossing, Creative Biolabs developed a BBB shuttle antibody platform by utilizing the endogenous macromolecule transportation pathway, known as receptor-mediated transcytosis (RMT). The engineered antibody-based carrier is believed to significantly to increase the macromolecule brain entry to combat CNS diseases.
Notes: The BBB antibody is made-to order and available in a customized format. Please don't hesitate contact us for more details.

Excellent
Its robust performance and reproducibility have saved us time and resources
This antibody exceeded our expectations in terms of binding efficiency and reliability. We used it to investigate the role of AQP4 in autoimmune disorders and were impressed by its ability to cross the BBB without affecting cellular integrity. It provided consistent results across multiple experiments.
user
Excellent
Performed exceptionally well
Using the rAb-53 antibody, we successfully mapped AQP4 distribution in our mouse models. The antibody's high affinity and specificity were evident in our immunohistochemistry results. It's a reliable product.
user
Excellent
We plan to continue using it in future projects
We were initially skeptical about the rAb-53 antibody's ability to cross the BBB, but it delivered on its promise. The antibody's specificity for AQP4 and minimal off-target effects made it ideal for our proteomics studies.
user
Excellent
It's a reliable reagent that we now depend on
We've been using the rAb-53 antibody for immunofluorescence staining and it has delivered exceptional results. The signal is strong and specific to AQP4. This has greatly enhanced our ability to visualize water channel distribution in the brain.
user
Excellent
Its sensitivity and specificity are top-notch
The antibody has been instrumental in our lab's research. Its performance in immunohistochemistry and western blot is superb. The antibody's ability to cross the blood-brain barrier has significantly advanced our understanding of AQP4.
Q&As
Is it possible to customize the concentration or formulation of the antibody for specific research requirements?
We offer the antibody in standard concentrations and formulations that have been optimized for research purposes. However, if you have specific requirements or need customization, please contact us to discuss further options.
Are there any known cross-reactivities or potential interference with other proteins?
The antibody has been validated for its specificity towards AQP4 on the BBB. There are no known cross-reactivities or interference with other proteins, ensuring accurate and reliable results in research experiments.
Can this antibody be conjugated with fluorescent dyes or other labels for imaging studies?
Yes, it can be conjugated with fluorescent dyes or other labels for imaging studies. This versatility allows researchers to visualize the distribution and localization of AQP4 channels in various biological samples, providing valuable insights into BBB permeability and drug delivery mechanisms.
