Figure 1 Western Dot Blot showing the binding of Nanobodies to immobilized recombinant SOD1.
h3D6v2 was as effective as chimeric 3D6 in inducing phagocytosis of Aβ aggregates in PDAPP mouse brain tissue. IgG is used as a negative control in this experiment because it cannot bind Aβ and therefore cannot induce phagocytosis.

Figure 3 SOD1 nanobody reduces SOD activity.
When SOD1 Nanobody was added to cell culture medium, SOD activity was reduced. The readout is the OD value, which correlates inversely with SOD activity.
Figure 4 Increased survival and disease onset in treated hSOD1G93A mice.
When SOD1 Nanobody was added to cell culture medium, SOD activity was reduced. The readout is the OD value, which correlates inversely with SOD activity.
Figure 5 SOD1 nanobody rescued MN death.
In mice treated with SOD1 Nanobody from P60, the number of small MNs increased at P145, but that of large MNs did not.
Figure 6 SOD1 Nanobody recognizes the neurotoxic form of SOD1.
In mice treated with SOD1 Nanobody from P60, the number of small MNs increased at P145, but that of large MNs did not.
