Description

Brain uptake of therapeutic antibodies is severely limited by their size. To achieve enhanced BBB crossing, Creative Biolabs developed a BBB shuttle antibody platform by utilizing the endogenous macromolecule transportation pathway, known as receptor-mediated transcytosis (RMT). The engineered antibody-based carrier is believed to significantly to increase the macromolecule brain entry to combat CNS diseases.

Lanes 1, 3 and 5: PHF-tau isolated according to Greenberg and Davies (1990). Lanes 2, 4 and 6: Normal affinity purified human tau according to Mercken et al. (1992a). Lane 7: Molecular weight markers. Lanes 1 and 2 were developed using AT8, lanes 3 and 4, using AT120 and lanes 5 and 6, using Tau-1 monoclonal antibody.
