Description

Human anti-focal adhesion kinase antibody, clone AbD05479 recognizes human focal adhesion kinase (FAK), a cytoplasmic protein tyrosine kinase of about 119 kDa, which can be activated by various stimuli and control cell movement, proliferation and apoptosis. FAK is widely expressed in various tissues and cultured cells. It is located in the adhesion plaques formed between cells and plays a vital role in integrin signaling.
