Description

Mouse anti-human Ryanodine receptor antibody, clone RYR-1 recognizes human ryanodine receptor 1, also known as skeletal muscle calcium release channel or skeletal muscle ryanodine receptor. Ryanodine receptor 1 is a large 5038 amino acid, approximately 500 kDa multichannel transmembrane protein associated with the sarcoplasmic reticulum, containing three B30.2/SPRY domains and five MIR domains. Mouse anti-human Ryanodine receptor antibody, clone RYR-1 recognizes the epitope in the C-terminal cytoplasmic domain of ryanodine receptor (UniProt: P21817).
It has been shown that Ryanodine receptors play a key role in intracellular Ca2+ signaling that occurs during cell activation of muscle cells and non-muscle cells. Mouse anti-human Ryanodine receptor antibody RYR-1 clone and ryanodine isolated from various cell types (such as lymphocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, fibroblasts, epithelial cells, endothelial cells, skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle and brain tissue) Receptor response. Defects in the ryanodine receptor 1 gene are associated with malignant hyperthermia (Gillard et al., 1992), central muscle disease (Quane et al., 1993) and certain recessive myopathy.
