Description
Mouse anti-human CRP recognizes human C-reactive protein, which is a calcium-binding acute phase reactant of the pentameric toxin family. In response to cytokine stimulation, the liver secretes it into the plasma. The level of CRP in the blood increases due to inflammation caused by disease, infection or tissue damage.
