Description

Nissl bodies, also known as Nissl or tigroid substances, are large granular bodies found in neurons. This Nissl Stain Kit is designed to detect Nissl bodies in the cytoplasm of neurons on paraformaldehyde-fixed frozen or shaken tissue sections. This staining is often used to identify basic neuronal structures in brain or spinal cord tissue. Nissl's body will be dyed violet blue.
