Our custom miRNA sponge vectors express a transcript containing multiple, tandem binding sites for your target miRNA. This "sponge" transcript acts as a competitive inhibitor, effectively sequestering the endogenous miRNA and preventing it from binding to its natural mRNA targets. This makes it a powerful and stable tool for loss-of-function studies.
