Description
Rat anti-human interleukin 6 antibody, recognizes human interleukin 6, also known as B cell stimulating factor 2, CTL differentiation factor, hybridoma growth factor or interferon beta-2. Interleukin 6 is a cytokine of 183 amino acids ~ 24 kDa, with a wide range of biological activities. Effective inducer of acute phase response as a lymphoid cell growth factor acting on B cells, T cells and hybridoma cells. Interleukin-6 gene mutations can regulate the susceptibility of juvenile systemic rheumatoid arthritis (RASJ), which is an early-onset inflammatory disease with lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, serositis, and muscle Pain and arthritis.
