Description
Recombinant bovine interleukin 6 (IL-6) is a recombinant protein that corresponds to aa 30-208 of natural bovine IL-6. Bovine Interleukin 6 is a multifunctional cytokine secreted by many cell types (especially T lymphocytes and macrophages). IL-6 has a series of activities, including differentiation of B cells into Ig-producing cells, differentiation of lymphocytes and monocytes. IL-6 not only plays a pro-inflammatory effect, but also an important inducer of cumulative phase response, and also plays a role in anti-inflammatory muscle factors.
