IL-10 has a series of biological properties, including inhibition of macrophage-mediated cytokine synthesis, inhibition of delayed-type hypersensitivity and stimulation of TH2 cell response. ED50 <2.0ng/ml, determined by dose-dependent co-stimulation of MC/9 cells (with murine IL-4).
