The hydrolysis of non-fluorescent substrates into fluorescent products by sEH serves as the foundation for its measurement principle. As a positive control, it employs the well-known sEH inhibitor N-cyclohexyl-dodecylurea (NCND). The kit offers a quick and easy way to find and screen possible sEH inhibitors.
