Description
AM4-66 is a fixable red fluorescent nerve end probe. The dye is spectrally the same as SynaptoRed™ C2 (also known as FM®4-64), but has an additional amine group at the hydrophilic end of the molecule, allowing the dye to be fixed with formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde. The long emission wavelength makes this dye suitable for two-color imaging with GFP.
