Product Overview
Description
Human dura mater was used to isolate Human Dural Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HDuMEC) from Creative Biolabs. At passage 1, HDuMECs are cryopreserved and given frozen. Each vial has a volume of 1 ml and 500 000 cells. HDuMECs can be identified by immunofluorescence using CD31 (PECAM) and/or vWF/Factor VIII-specific antibodies. HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi are not present in HDuMEC. Under the Creative Biolabs-provided circumstances, HDuMEC justifies an additional 5-fold population expansion.
Application Notes
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium (ECM, Cat. no. NCL2203P37) for culturing HDuMEC in vitro.

Upon receiving, directly and immediately transfer the cells from dry ice to liquid nitrogen, and keep the cells in liquid nitrogen until they are needed for experiments.

Quality Control
Each lot has been tested for growth, viability and purity (≥110%) following recovery from cryopreservation. In addition, each lot has been tested for the absence of mycoplasma and pathogens.
