Product Overview

Description

The BBB is a highly selective membrane that surrounds the blood vessels in the brain, and it can prevent many molecules, including potentially life-saving drugs, from entering the brain. The anti-PEX5L BBB Shuttle Antibody is designed to bind to receptors on the surface of cells in the BBB, and once bound, the antibody can cross the BBB and into the brain. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the treatment of brain disorders by enabling drugs to reach the brain more effectively.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide amino acids 1-12 (MYQGHMQLVNEQ, exon 1a (yellow) and exon 5 (green) of constant region) of mouse TRIP8b (also known as TPR-containing Rab8b-interacting protein, Peroxisome biogenesis factor 5-like, Peroxin-5- or PEX5-related/like protein, Pex5Rp, Pex5l, Pex5r, Pex2, Pxr2, accession number Q8C437)

Construction

We offer several options for BBB shuttle antibody design. Antibody construction can be customized according to customer requirements.
