The cloned rhesus monkey CCR5 expression cell line at Creative Biolabs was prepared in the Chem-1 host. It supports a high level of recombinant CCR5 expression on the cell surface and contains a high level of promiscuous G protein Gα15 to couple the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. .Therefore, this cell line is an ideal tool for screening antagonists of the interaction between CCR5 and its ligand.
