Description

Neurons with high-frequency emission are known to express the Kv3.2 channel. Cells can create quick action potential chains linked to neuron excitability as a result of their biophysical characteristics. They are thought to be involved in controlling the 24-hour circadian rhythm of humans since the suprachiasmatic nucleus is where they are most abundantly produced. The regulation of Kv3.2 channels, which have also been discovered in the insulin-secreting cells of the pancreas, may offer novel targets for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
