Description
Potassium voltage-gated channel, also known as KCNA5 or Kv1.5, is a member of a similar subfamily of oscillators. The human atrium contains a sizable repolarization current called Kv1.5. The proliferation of microglia and the creation and release of nitric oxide following brain injury are both mediated by voltage-gated Kv1.5 channels in the central nervous system.
