Figure 1 depicts LuCaP 35V subcutaneous xenograft tumor growth in castrated SCID mice during treatment initiated when tumors reached 150-200 mm3.
Group A: untreated control; Panel B: animals treated with docetaxel (10 mg/kg or 20 mg/kg) alone or in combination with anti-IGF-IR antibody (40 mg/kg IMC-A12) for 4 weeks;
Figure 2 shows single cells from LuCaP 35V xenograft tumors treated with docetaxel (10 mg/kg) alone (Panel A) or in combination with anti-IGF-IR antibody (40 mg/kg IMC-A12) (Panel B) Suspension.
Figure 3 shows DNA synthesis (BrDu uptake ).
Figure 4 depicts the differential expression of genes associated with prostate tumor aggressiveness (TUBB), resistance to antiandrogen therapy (BIRC 5), and induction of apoptosis (IGFBP3) in prostate tumor cells in response to docetaxel and A12 and docetaxel alone.
Figure 5 shows A12 serum levels after cessation of treatment.
Figure 6 shows docetaxel alone (10 mg/kg or 20 mg/kg) or with anti-IGF-IR antibody (40 mg/kg IMC-A12).
Figure 7 shows the effect of treatment with an anti-IGF-IR antibody (IMC-A12) on PSA produced by xenografts in SCID mice implanted with LuCaP 23.1 cells.
