Description
Estem ™ Neuronal Differentiation Medium is a specially formulated medium optimized for the preferential differentiation of Estem ™ human neural progenitor cells into neuronal lineages. This medium has been extensively validated on Estem ™ human neural progenitor cells. Using Estem ™ Neuronal Differentiation Medium, a relatively pure neuronal cell population (> 90% bIII-tubulin positive) can be obtained. Very low levels of astrocytes were detected (<0.5% GFAP positive). Provide sufficient media to provide 100 independent reactions in a volume of 1 mL or 10 reactions in a volume of 10 mL.

The media should be stored at -20 ° C until ready to use. After thawing, fresh L-glutamine should be added to a final concentration of 2 mM. The thawed medium should be stored at a temperature of 2-8 ° C and should have a validity of 1 month. Dispense into small portions to avoid repeated heating before each use.
