Description
Eight GPCR families, referred to as EDG-1 to EDG-8, make up EDG receptors. Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptors (S-1-P) and lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) receptors are two more subtypes of EDG receptors. An S-1-P receptor, the EDG-1 receptor interacts to a number of intracellular processes via Gi and Go.
