Product Overview

Description

hNav1.4 has a role in the beginning and transmission of muscular action potentials and is mostly expressed in skeletal muscle. In order to treat myotonia, a condition marked by the sluggish relaxation of muscles following voluntary contraction or electrical stimulation, this ion channel is the target of a local anaesthetic. Patients with myotonic muscular dystrophy frequently experience myotonia as a symptom.
