Product Overview

Description

The BBB is a highly selective membrane that surrounds the blood vessels in the brain, and it can prevent many molecules, including potentially life-saving drugs, from entering the brain. The anti-6xHis BBB Shuttle Antibody is designed to bind to receptors on the surface of cells in the BBB, and once bound, the antibody can cross the BBB and into the brain. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the treatment of brain disorders by enabling drugs to reach the brain more effectively.

Immunogen

Identified as off-target mAb in screen for anti-ProtocadherinGammaA3 NeuroMabs (immunogen was 6xHis fusion protein amino acids 720-804, variable portion of cytoplasmic C-terminus, of mouse ProtocadherinGammaA3). Target identified as 6xHis (also known as Hexahistidine and Polyhistidine) by ELISA, immunofluorescence and immunoblot against other 6xHis-tagged fusion proteins.

Construction

We offer several options for BBB shuttle antibody design. Antibody construction can be customized according to customer requirements.
