The SmartTox Caspase-3 / 7 NucView 488 detection kit is also suitable for fluorescence imaging, because the nuclei of intact apoptotic cells are labeled according to their caspase activity. Treat HeLa cells with anisomycin (red circle) or staurosporine (blue square). Use the 4-parameter curve fitting in ProMax software to draw the results. Anisomycin has an IC50 of 3.3 μM and staurosporine has an IC50 of 0.53 μM; both values are consistent with the published values.
