Description

DMEM is an improvement of the basic medium Eagle (BME) with four times the concentration of amino acids and vitamins.

The preparation first contains 1000 mg/L of glucose and is used to culture embryonic mouse cells. DMEM 4.5 g/L glucose, no L-Gln, no phenol red, suitable for most types of cells, including human, monkey, hamster, rat, mouse, chicken and fish cells. The high glucose version is very suitable for high density suspension culture.
