Tissue Microarray

Tissue microarray (TMA) is a technology that allows for the analysis of multiple tissue samples on a single slide, enabling researchers to study the expression patterns of biomarkers in a high-throughput manner. A TMA block can be comprised of tissues from various species, organ types, and health conditions, which provides an efficient way for researchers to perform high-throughput analysis of human, rat, mouse, and primate tissue by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH).

Creative Biolabs is proud of producing and evaluating a diverse range of high-quality Frozen TMA and Paraffin TMA from mouse, rat, and human normal, diseased, and tumor samples. A comprehensive range of tissues can be collected, and extensive TMA can be manually prepared by our experienced scientists under the same conditions to ensure the accuracy of desired areas of interest. Please feel free to view our TMA products and get in touch with us for customized TMA products to fit your precise requirements and preferences.

Product Overview

Frozen Tissue Microarrays
High-quality tissues are promptly frozen in liquid nitrogen post-excision, carefully transferred and manually assembled in one block. Frozen tissue microarray blocks or sections are typically stored at -80°C and can be used for detection within one year if properly handled and stored.
Paraffin Tissue Microarrays
High-quality tissues are fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin, carefully transferred and manually assembled in one block. Paraffin tissue microarray blocks or sections are typically stored at room temperature and can be used for detection within one year if properly handled and stored.

Applications

  • Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
  • In situ hybridization (ISH)
  • Antibody Validation
  • Biomarker Analysis
  • Drug Discovery
  • Target Gene & Protein Expression Analysis

Procedure

Creative Biolabs provides custom-designed TMAs for customers around the world.

  • Information and tissue collection
After getting enough information about the species, donor status and numbers per indication, sample types, and processing requirements, we will look into FFPE/Frozen tissue blocks for you.
  • Tissue preparation
Based on your needs, tissue blocks will be frozen immediately in liquid nitrogen or fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin.
  • Tissue core removal
Tissue cores were carefully removed from the area that best represented the tissue pathology after careful observation and selection by our histologists with many years of experience.
  • TMA producing
Tissue cores are carefully transferred and manually assembled in one block.
  • TMA delivery
TMA blocks or TMA sections can be provided with follow-up information.
