Tissue Lysates

Tissue lysates are obtained by breaking down tissue using methods such as viral, enzymatic, or osmotic lysis, resulting in a fluid containing tissue components. Tissue lysates are essential tools for researchers to study the molecular pathways involved in various diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. By examining the proteins present in these lysates, scientists can identify potential drug targets and develop novel treatment strategies. Tissue lysates are indispensable for advancing biomedical research and are invaluable in the quest for effective therapies.

Creative Biolabs' neural tissue lysate products span from Cytoplasmic Protein Lysates, Membrane Protein Lysates, Mitochondrial Protein Lysates, Total Protein Lysates, and Nuclear Protein Lysates. These are extracted from brains and spin cords of normal healthy or diseased human, mouse, rat and other animals with our proprietary isolation techniques. Please contact us to obtain any spot or order-to-made products of your interest.

Product Overview

Creative Biolabs is committed to delivering the following tissue lysate products from human, mouse, rat, monkey, rabbit, etc., which are ready-to-use and high quality.

  • Cytoplasmic Protein Lysates

Cytosolic proteins are involved in regulating cell growth, maintaining intracellular environment, and carrying out essential cellular functions such as energy production and nutrient processing. Cytoplasmic protein lysates can be used for a variety of applications, including Western blotting, enzyme assays, protein-protein interaction studies, and mass spectrometry analysis.

  • Membrane Protein Lysates

Membrane proteins have multiple functions and play a crucial role in cell recognition, cell signaling, transport, etc., making them excellent drug targets. The expression level of membrane proteins in organisms is low, and they have strong hydrophobic characteristics. High-quality membrane protein lysates from neural tissues empower researchers to easily identify neurological disease-specific membrane proteins.

  • Mitochondrial Protein Lysates

Mitochondria are small organelles found in cells that generate energy through the process of cellular respiration. Dysfunction in mitochondria is believed to contribute to the progression of various neurodegenerative diseases in humans. Mitochondrial protein lysates can be analyzed using western blotting, mass spectrometry, or enzyme activity assays, which are becoming valuable tools for studying mitochondrial dysfunction.

  • Total Protein Lysates

Total protein lysates refer to the preparation of all cellular proteins from tissues and are widely used for western blotting, protein quantification, and mass spectrometry to study the expression levels of proteins and their functions.

  • Nuclear Protein Lysates

Nuclear protein lysates are cell extracts that contain proteins specifically localized in the cell nucleus. These lysates are valuable research tools for studying nuclear protein functions, interactions, and expression levels. They can be used for a variety of applications such as Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and protein-protein interaction studies.
