Primary Cells
Primary cells (also known as primary cell cultures) are cells that have been directly obtained from a living organism and have not been transformed or immortalized in any way. These cells directly reflect the characteristics and behavior of the tissue or organism from which they were derived. Primary cells are typically used in research to study cell behavior, toxicity testing, drug development, and disease modeling due to their physiological relevance and authenticity.

Primary neural cells are isolated from healthy individuals, either fetal, postnatal, or adult, using different enzyme digestion methods and are screened and purified in specific growth media. Then these cells are identified using at least one specific marker and cryopreserved at early passage. Well-designed and optimized specialty complete growth and differentiation medium are also available.
