Description
The β-Amyloid Aggregation Kit comes with the NH4OH counterion of the peptide, which is supplied as a stable monomer that readily forms aggregates in most experiments. Such methods can be used to study the kinetics, inhibition, and overall effects of aggregation-inhibiting compounds. The kit allows researchers to monitor the properties of amyloid aggregation via thioflavin T fluorometry, which also provides a means to test various compounds and methods for preventing aggregation.
