cDNA

Human and animal neural tissue complementary DNA (cDNA) is synthesized from mature RNA templates by using reverse transcriptase. cDNA is a crucial element in molecular biology research, enabling scientists to analyze gene expression levels, study genetic mutations, and unravel the complexities of cellular processes. It serves as a valuable tool for various applications, including creating cDNA libraries, gene cloning, qRT-PCR, RT-qPCR, and RT-PCR.

At Creative Biolabs, we are dedicated to offering high-quality and ready-to-use full-length cDNA products from a wide variety of normal or diseased human neural tissues, as well as mouse, rat, and monkey neural tissues. We understand the importance of reliable research tools in neuroscience and strive to provide researchers with the best resources available. If you have specific requirements or requests, we also offer custom cDNA synthesis services to meet your unique needs. Please feel free to contact us to obtain unparalleled human and animal neural tissue cDNA products for your research.

cDNA Synthesis

  • Total RNA isolation: The quality of template RNA directly impacts the efficiency of cDNA synthesis. We obtain fresh brain tissues from devise species including human, mouse, rat and non-human primates, and then use modified guanidine thiocyanate techniques to isolate high quality total RNA.
  • First strand cDNA synthesis: All methods for synthesizing first-strand cDNA rely on a DNA polymerase (reverse transcriptase) that is dependent on RNA to catalyze the reaction. Creative Biolabs' full-length cDNA is primed with oligo dT or random hexamer primers through reverse transcription.

Quality Control

At Creative Biolabs, we perform a series of steps to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data generated from downstream applications of our cDNA products.

  • RNA Integrity: Denatured agarose gel electrophoresis.
  • RNA Purity: Spectrophotometer (A260/A280: 1.8-2.1).
  • DNA Test: PCR amplification of β-actin gene was visualized on 1% agarose gel.

Applications

With our cDNA products, you can easily develop a wide range of applications in biological and medical research.

  • PCR amplification for gene expression analysis of your interest.
  • Identification of mRNA alternative splicing.
