Description

Compared with existing optogenetic tools, the REDMAP system is characterized by high transcriptional activation efficiency (1s,>150-fold) and fast activation/inactivation (1s) kinetics, while the system has higher sensitivity and higher Gene induction fold. The light-controlled tool is expected to be used in the fields of precise and controllable gene editing, gene therapy and cell therapy, and accelerates the progress of optogenetics from basic research to biomedical translational research.
