Description

DMEM is an improvement of the basic medium Eagle (BME) with four times the concentration of amino acids and vitamins.

The preparation first contains 1000 mg/L of glucose and is used to culture embryonic mouse cells. DMEM 4.5 g/L glucose/L-UltraGln glucose without sodium pyruvate medium is suitable for most types of cells, including human, monkey, hamster, rat, mouse, chicken and fish cells. The high glucose version is very suitable for high density suspension culture.

DMEM 4.5 g/L glucose/L-UltraGln glucose without sodium pyruvate can be used with different cell lines or with primary cells (such as fibroblasts).
