Description

A new SH-SY5Y cell line family was developed through stable transfection with different fluorescent isotype tau proteins and mutants. Each cell line has been stably transfected and is ready for cell-based detection applications. These stably transfected cell lines provide consistent expression levels, which helps simplify the interpretation of results. These cell lines are intended to be used as "in vitro" models for tau research.

The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.

The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.
