NeuroMab™ Mouse Anti-Human S100A9 Monoclonal Antibody (CBP1605)

Description

Mouse anti-human S100A9 antibody recognizes S100A9, also known as MRP-14, S100 calcium binding protein A9 (calgranulin B), calgranulin B, calgranulin B, calprotectin L1H subunit, leukocyte L1 complex weight Chain and migration inhibitor related protein 14.
The protein encoded by the S100A9 gene is a member of the S100 protein family, which contains two EF hand calcium binding motifs. S100 protein is located in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a large number of cells, and participates in the regulation of many cell processes, such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. The S100 gene includes at least 13 members arranged in clusters on chromosome 1q21. This protein may play a role in the inhibition of casein kinase, and the change in expression of this protein is related to the disease cystic fibrosis (provided by RefSeq, July 2008).
The mouse anti-human S100A9 antibody can detect a 13 kDa band. This antibody has been extensively validated by immunoblotting using whole cell lysates.
