Description

Mouse anti-human Parkin antibody, clone 1H4 recognizes the human E3 ubiquitin protein ligase Parkin, also known as Parkin or Parkinson Juvenile Disease Protein 2. Parkin is the 465 amino acid ~ 50 kDa enzyme component of the polyprotein E3 ubiquitin ligase complex.
Noted that mutations in the PARK2 gene affect the susceptibility to Parkinson's disease (PARK) and Parkinson's disease 2 (also known as autosomal recessive juvenile Parkinson's disease (PARK2)), which is similar to classic Parkinson's disease. The difference lies in the early DOPA-induced dyskinesia, symptoms, sleep improvement, dystonia and hyperreflexia.
