Description

The ability to validate pluripotency at an early stage of experimental design provides valuable insights that can prevent weeks of effort and wasted reagents. Furthermore, confirmation of pluripotency helps to ensure consistency between studies and reduce unnecessary experimental variability. The pluripotency of neural progenitor cells (NPCs) is best assessed by functionally assessing the ability of NPCs to differentiate into multiple neural lineages.

The product is shipped with dry ice or equivalent. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.

Storage

Store the unopened product at -20 to -70 °C. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Do not use past expiration date.

Handling Advices

The quantity of neural differentiation supplement in this kit is sufficient to make 50 mL of media for NPC expansion and 100 mL of media for NPC differentiation. This is enough media for the differentiation of two 24-well plates.
