Product Overview

Description

Brain uptake of therapeutic antibodies is severely limited by their size. To achieve enhanced BBB crossing, Creative Biolabs developed a BBB shuttle antibody platform by utilizing the endogenous macromolecule transportation pathway, known as receptor-mediated transcytosis (RMT). The engineered antibody-based carrier is believed to significantly to increase the macromolecule brain entry to combat CNS diseases.
Notes: The BBB antibody is made-to order and available in a customized format. Please don't hesitate contact us for more details.

Figure 1 shows the results of an in vitro cytotoxicity assay testing the activity of 2H12-derived antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) against the CD33-positive AML cell lines HL-60 and HEL 92.1.7.

h2H12d is conjugated to SGD-1910; m2H12 and h2H12 are conjugated to SGD-1269. Non-binding control ADCs (hOOd-SGD-1910 and hOOSGD-1269) were tested as controls for antigen specificity. MYLOTARG@ (gemtuzumab ozogamicin), a well-described CD33-directed antibody-drug conjugate consisting of the anti-CD33 antibody hP67.6 linked to the cytotoxic drug calicheamicin, was also tested.
