Product Overview

Description

Mouse anti-human corticotropin releasing factor antibody recognizes human corticotropin releasing factor (CRF), which is a hormone mainly found in the hypothalamus and can regulate the release of pituitary gland corticosteroids.
The unique lysine residue (Lys-36) may be related to the antigenic determinant because the modification of lysine by CA completely blocks the binding. Human serum containing CRF binding protein also inhibits the binding of the antibody to CRF. Averages 10(e)-9 M with native and modified CRF.

Immunogen

Corticotrophin Releasing Factor conjugated to Bovine Serum Albumin.
